Anthurium papillilaminum

Anthurium Papillilaminum is an impressive plant, it belongs to the section Cardiolonchium of the genus Anthurium, which includes other species with velvety leaves. It is a terrestrial plant. It has cordate leaves of very dark green color, densely papillose and velvety to the touch. The inflorescence is erect and longer than the leaves, with a green spadix and a green spathe tinged with red-violet. The flowers are cream-colored and have a brush-like stigma. The plant is slow growing and needs plenty of moisture, bright indirect light and well-draining soil to thrive.
