Philodendron Rabo de mona

This tropical aroid, a hybrid of Phil. patriciae and Phil. alatiundulatum, has unique heart-shaped leaves with prominent veins. Its mature leaves are a glossy green, while the new ones emerge in shades of bronze or copper, creating a constantly changing display of colors.

• Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves. East or north-facing windows are ideal.
• Temperature: Maintain warm conditions with temperatures between 21-27°C (70-80°F). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 16°C (60°F).
• Humidity: Keep humidity levels between 60-80%. Use humidity trays, misting, or room humidifiers to maintain adequate moisture.
• Watering: Water when the top inch of soil becomes dry. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. Use lukewarm, filtered water when possible.

Additional Notes:

Features prominent red to burgundy petioles that add ornamental value. New leaves emerge with bronze coloration that gradually transitions to deep green as they mature. Can be trained to climb with proper support.
